01- Front

CheckMouse

I'm hoping to find more information on this house, but for now I know it was made specifically for the lady who originally had the storage unit. It is obviously scratch-built; estimated about 20 years old. It measures 35" W x 30" H x 20" D. (the height includes the castors on the bottom).

From the album:

What a neat find!

Houseworks has a plan book that includes a Victorian dollhouse. I think that's what you have. You can see the cover of the book here... it's a small picture, but I have this book and I can vouch that yours looks almost identical! (Your house is missing a dormer, but that's about it.)

As I understand it these plans have been around for a long time. Houseworks later partnered with RGT to create a kit version. I don't think HBS carries the 1" version of this anymore (if they do, I can't find it), but here it is in half scale. You can see that the interior is pretty much the same as yours.

There is a 1" RGT kit that looks almost the same. If I remember correctly, this came out recently as a replacement or updated version of the kit based on the original plans.
