I had different plans for the grapevine cut-outs. I was going to make valances, but it was blocking the light and just didn't look right, but I had already cut the pieces! Oh no! But actually I am really happy with how it turned out and like it even better. Curtains will only cover the bottom half of the window. That way, the wood will be the decoration at the top and won't compete with curtains.

WOW, this is absolutely beautiful! I love your details, and I think you are dead-on about the curtains on the bottom half. I love that ceiling . . . do you mind me asking where you found it? I am in need of some well-done ceiling materials and I don't seem to have many sources.
