First attempt at making a wall out of clay

Jo Med

I'm not sure if this is the same stuff that my US friends call paperclay. Its called papier maché powder on the pack and you mix it to a dough with water and then use it like ordinary clay. It dries like egg boxes.

I'm making a deck for the Garfield conservatory to sit on but I wanted it to sit on stone walls that will form part of the rest of the garden. It too me a long time to do this but now that I know what I am doing its moving along much quicker.

This pic is of a drying wall and one that has been painted.

Fantastic job. The paper clay I have purchased here in USA is ready to use comes in a block and can be expensive. So you powder version could be a better product
