This is the back of the sofa. I started by lining the check up with the bottom of the piece. I hot glued this section as it dries quick and won't show. I trimmed the fabric as I went to fit nicely around the curve. Be careful with checks and stripes that you don't pull the fabric too much as you will make the pattern wavy.
