Peel & Stick Sandstone

ToyPianista

A very nice product - none of the tiles were cut perfectly square, but the result is definitely worth it. Grouted with matching water-soluable caulk.

Your floors are looking great!! I used similar tiles in my Beacon Hill but stuck them close together without grout. You can see the spaces in close-ups so I'm thinking maybe I should reconsider...what did you use for grout?

Great job!

Hi Cynthia - We used water-soluable caulk (not silicone based) to grout the peel & stick tiles sometimes it's called "Easy Wipe" or "Water Cleanup" on the tube. My husband's a professional flooring contractor / installer, so I really can't take credit . . . I just stood around and tried to keep things clean for him :)

He says it was difficult to grout because the tiles slid around a little, not being wedged right up against each other. Most scary for me was when he grouted the dining room with the paper wood parquet inset. Gulp! But he cleaned it up nicely -- now, just re-paint the trim . . .

Oh, that Beacon Hill, what a spectacular house!! I'm going to check your albums. Thanks Cynthia :)

love the wallpaper tiles too!! :)

Thanks, Lynda - I wonder, how many 1/24th houses can fit inside two back-to-back Beacon Hills?

It's mind-bottling !
