stain glass bay

deb's designs

I'm working on a pair of bay windows for this house.

I still need to shingle the roof, the other is going under a porch.

The stain glass has plexi backing for durability.

I don't like the thin mylar that comes with a lot of houses as little fingers love to poke them out. :p

Thanks Debora,

They are 1" scale windows.

I made them in photoshop and then got color transparencies made at Office Depot for about a dollar a sheet. Then I painted them on the back side with stain glass paints to get the vibrancy and effect of stain glass. The color transparency keeps it more even than just stain glass paints alone. I backed the transparencies with plexi-glass to keep them from being too flimsy. Hope this is helpful!

Are these two additions from another kit? or from Scratch? I have been trying to figure out the best way to refurb my playscale size homemade barbie house into a castle. [ stained glass windows are on my list so thank you for the instructions you provided earlier]
