I did use the trick I saw posted on the forum awhile back where you sew strips of fabric together and then cut across to make strips of squares and then sew those strips horizontally... but it's still very fiddley. I learned some things that will make next time easier. When I do another one, I'll take pictures and post to my blog with instructions, if it works the way I think it will, that is!
