tile and grout?

Debora59

I just got the idea to elevate my tub with my mosaic tiles. I thought I had white, these would actually look better maybe in the wall just below the window like a surround. But Mosaics and grout get heavy, has anyone ever attempted this in a miniature doll house?

Nice! For the small amount of tile you have there, I wouldn't think you'd need to worry about the extra weight. What you could do...if you aren't able to flatten the bag enough to your taste or you don't have enough of the background pattern to wallpaper the entire room...is find a suitable coordinating scrapbook paper for the walls and then mount the flower art from the bag over it and frame it with strip wood.

Yes I was kind of thinking a small area should be ok, The main thing I wanted was elevation and then noticed its a perfect spot for a surround tile with the right colors. I will look through scrap booking sheets too, forgot about those Thanks.

Very pretty! You don't often see a high-end spa-like bathroom in a dollhouse. It looks very relaxing.

I like your idea of elevating the tub with the tile - and how elegant to have it in the window bay. I wouldn't think that there would be enough tile for the weight to cause a problem.
