Wow - unbelievable! I hope there isn't too sad a story behind whoever had to sell this for nothing. Good for you, though! Someone who I'm sure can appreciate all the work that went into this. Usually, these finds are a result of people who gave up halfway, but this one is well done. Congrats - give it the love it deserves.

I found it at a cancer society second hand store. I am thinking that this is a case of someone passing on and a family member giving it away. It is on a turn table and whom ever took it apart did not care about it. They cut the wiring underneath the house to remove it from the base and ripped it off the turntable. It has some damage just because of the way they took it apart. I am fortunate to have a miniature shop nearby that can assist me in repairing it since I don't know much about hard wiring. They took a lot of time with this house, there are 10 switches on the side of the house to controll the lights. I am very fortunate to have found this when I did.

:yikes: $15.00! $15.00? Ok you might as well come clean right now and tell us where you buried the body, cause I know you had to kill someone to get this for that price. Holy Cow! I have to start shopping where you shop. (Walks away mumbling to self) ....$15 bucks, not $1500, $15!
