Fabric printing - replicating a pattern

otterine

Here's a sample of fabric I recreated in PhotoShop and then printed using an inkjet printer; it is superimposed on the original design photo I got the idea from. I want to use this overall room design in the Newport, but to me, it's the fabric that makes everything work. Trying to match this with existing fabric on the market would have been impossible, and I'm rather pleased with the result. I have more details on my blog in case anyone would like to give it a try, too. &lt;img src=&quot;http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif&quot; style=&quot;vertical-align:middle&quot; emoid=&quot;:D&quot; border=&quot;0&quot; alt=&quot;smile.gif&quot; /&gt; <br /><br />PS - If you know the name of the boat painting or the artist, please let me know. I would love to include it in the room as well.

Is that from a magazine (photo of the room) Is the boat painting to small or large to cut out and frame? I always look for good artwork in magazines. I use clear shipping tape on them to protect them before I frame them.

The only photo I have is a jpg file, and the quality of printout is so-so. It will do...but I would like to have a better print...or even find more from the same artist to have a group of boat photos.

I had never heard of computer printer fabric.

The possibilities seem endless.

It does say the fabric will run if it gets wet.

Maybe a fixitive will help prevent damage.

Thanks for sharing, this has a lot of potential.
