primed and final dry fit

havanaholly

I filled the joins between the tower wall spaces with spackling compound; skewers were too large for this scale and I'm not sure how the lanternroom brackets would have fit if I'd used them. I masked the doorway and windows (after painting the sashes to match the trims)before I primed. As mentioned before, I used gesso because of the finish this structure has requested. I dry fitted the lanternroom to see how it looks. I still need to assemble the roof and paint it prior to installing. I want to make it a flagpole because once more what I wanted to make this kit into and what it wanted to become were not the same thing, so it will become a Garden Folly for the Fairfields bash.
