So if I leave it like this I guess I take out the hallway floor that would be to the right of the staircase as you go up...to the wall?

What about putting the second floor stair next to the curved stair but facing in the opposite direction. I mean that if you were walking up the curved stair, when you got to the top you would make 2 right turns and go up the second stair. This would mean reconstructing the bedroom wall but you could have an understairs closet in the bedroom.
