Making progress on the exterior

I did stuff all the wrong way round here and built the porch roof before inserting the porch itself. Well, I suppose stuff happens on your first build that you learn from. It meant that the porch was a xxxxxxx to fit - there are emormous gaps which I will fill either with beading or filler. Still, all in all, I'm quite pleased with the result so I had to put a pic up before I had "perfected" everything. Next job will be the foundations at the front and side and then I have the remaining walls to fit siding on and the rest of the roof to shingle.

Like my hanging baskets??

I agree. I think the colors look beautiful and I love the different tones on the shingles. Beautiful!
