This is where Alice has climbed up to the mantelpiece mirror, and realised it's gone all silvery, misty and soft ... she's going right through it!! (Her kitten, Dinah, doesn't even notice what her mistress is doing - she's too busy playing with the yarn.)

Thanks for the kind comments! My grandparents gave me the Alice books when I was quite young, and they fired my imagination. My Mum has her own (favourite) copy from when she was a girl.
