Bottlecap Blueberry Pies

My 15-year-old cousin Becca visited this weekend from Atlanta and came to the show! She is amazingly talented and can make anything out of polymer clay and a toothpick.

On Monday I took the day off, and we spent the day making projects. I made three blueberry pies in bottlecaps; one for Becca, one for Ava, and one for Becca's sister Caitlyn, who also loves miniatures.

They were so much fun to make!

I made the blueberries out of teeny-tiny bits of polymer clay which I rolled, baked, then mixed with liquid polymer and baked again in the pie shell. Very tedious but worth it!
