Here the start of sticking vinyl 1" squares on a vinyl subfloor. It's just bendable enough to insert it back into the house when it's done.

Thanks, Joane - I used a big metal ruler, measuring out 1 inch strips and used two clamps to hold it down along the edge of the table. Then I scored along the ruler edge with a box cutter/exacto knife, bent it along the cut and it comes apart. Then I used a smaller ruler/square to cut 1" lengths off the strips to make 1" squares.

Grreat idea to lay your floor on vinyl, I have been using medium thickness card and it does warp when you stick anything to it.

I love your floor by the way, the colours are perfect.

Thanks, Jo - it turned out to be the easiest thing to cut and lay flat on the floor, while still being somewhat flexible for inserting back in the house - especially with such a big floor. :idea:
