Mini Man

I love this kit!

I tried to show that even with a small dollhouse kit,you can put high end furniture in it and it looks like it belongs.

Last summer I was in Italy and was amazed at all the old buildings with layer after layer of different texures telling history with each layer. I tried to recreate some of that with this kit. I added a wash shed from last years contest kit. They can be shown alone or next to each other as one.

The house is lighted with the wiring hid in the roof section. I knew from the begining that would be a perfect place for it.

I made the shutters from a old picket fence. Cut off the top and bottom and glued a thin piece of balsa wood on the back.

The bathroom window is made to look like it is open with a fresh breeze blowing the curtain.

The new door didn't quite fit, but with the dremel tool it was a easy fix.

This was a fun kit to build.
