In real life, I am an office manager for a small accounting firm. I ordered the Bungalow kit in the midst of tax season and while standing knee-deep in tax returns. Since I was eating, sleeping and dreaming about taxes, I could hardly avoid having an accounting office become the theme for my bungalow. And so, the office of "Ms. Ima Goode, Certified Public Accountant" has opened for business on the 23rd day of May, 2009.

I was getting a bit worried that I wouldn't have time to work on and finish my project. However, the kit went together surprisingly quickly and it only took me about 2 weeks to complete it from start to finish. Special thanks must be given to my chihuahua for waking me up several mornings around 5:00am which allowed me some extra time to work on my project. Of course, I cannot forget to thank my darling husband who saved the kids and I from eating stale crackers and a jar of olives by bringing home pizza for dinner;)

Several items in Ima Goode's office are gifts from some of my very best mini-friends (the floral arrangements, food items, pictures) and the majority of the furniture is store-bought. I made the two filing cabinets from directions in a DHM article. Thanks to Jim's printables I had more than enough printies for the bankers boxes and file folders. My toughest challenge was making the phone and adding machine. Since I am absolutely abysmal at working with clay, I opted for a combination of printies and wood. I had lots of fun making the red & blue binders and adding silly company names to them. I love adding little realistic touches to a scene - the bits of shredding scattered on the floor, the half opened ream of paper near the bookcases, and eating lunch at my desk as there is just no time to go out.

Anyway, that's a bit about my project. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the 2009 Spring Fling Contest and for offering such a cute little bungalow kit. It has so many possibilities. I can hardly wait to see what the other contestants have done with it
