This lovely spring fling contest house inspired me to make a fairy-tale cottage.

I tried to combine the nice, colourfull and inviting outside of the witch’s house in the story of Hansel and Gretel with the dark creepy en scary inside of this house.

Hansel and Gretel just arrived. They are a bit shy, but also very hungry. And the house looks so very yummie…

Inside the witch is eagerly waiting for the children to start eating – so she can eat them in return.
