The original plan was to do a medium grey exterior with a black roof. Well, the paint ended up being a LOT darker than I anticipated; in fact, it was almost as dark as the black paint I had ready for the roof. So I paced the living room for a while then found this 10+ year old silver paint that was all dried up and nasty, so I thought - perfect! I smeared it on with my fingers because it was too dry to use a brush. I'm going to do a light second coat with a NEW bottle of silver to fill in the spots I couldn't cover with the silver "goo." I'm going for a witchy house, so I think the silver roof is a tad magical and works out well with the overall idea. I still need to touch up the trim and come up with a color for the window boxes.
