Sitting room curtains

Jo Med

I have slaved over these and I'm still not happy. I never intended Victoria Villa to be elegant, more of an old house lived in by a modern family. These are over elaborate, I'll judge when they are in situ but along with the 2 previous efforts for this window, I'm afraid they may be consigned to the wastebin. I just fon't know how to dress this window if its not a statement kind of window.

I was very enthusiastic after the first pair of curtains that I made and maybe I was over ambitious. Ah well time to get back to building and leave curtains alone for a while. Still plenty more to do and I may get some inspiration along the way.

That's the oval window correct?

No Corwin its the ground floor tower window which is in what I call the sitting room. Its quite a big window and an odd shape to fit. I'm still puzzling over this one. These just don't feel right but at the moment I can't be bothered starting again. Maybe in a couple of weeks I'll have another go.

Ah I got it! I see that its on a floor, I thought that was the wall. Well look at how professionals do bay window curtains. :) That should give you some ideas.
