My mansard roof, so far

My roof so far. I have added extra moulding around the bottom edge of the roof. I think it looks better with the bigger edge than the kit edge. Also if you look at the corner where the 2 curved rooflines meet I have added a rope moulding like my inspiration picture house.

All I could find was half round rope moulding, so I carefully cut that in half to get a quarter round. I then had to soak the wood in water to make it curve to the fit the curve of the Beacon Hill roof line.

I also want to add different shapes of shingles like the Sacramento house.
