The fireplace

You could still put a fireplace in front of it, just hang a mirror or a large painting above the fireplace. It might take a bit of finagling with the depth of the trim on the wall, but it's an idea.

I'm going to add the primrose onto my side right there, and I'll be covering up the window as well. I'm just going to hang curtains on the inside since all my trim is already glued in place.
