Redressed Caco Dolls

I always forget to take before pics. Mama and Papa are Caco dolls from the 50's.

I had to gesso and repaint Mama's face, as she had teeth marks. Her legs were wrapped with GREEN?!! thread, so I gessoed them as well and painted them flesh colour.!

The next 2 pics are off the Net, and show how the dolls looked originally.

Just One More

These older dolls are so much more poseable than the newer ones. You did a great job with them. Did you paint the green legs or use fabric? I've painted some of the legs on similar dolls black to look like stockings.
