Stage 4: Next the Living Room

I originally wanted to do some wallpaper. But, this would have been pretty tricky with the bay windows. I decided to alter my thinking and go for Extreme Makeover on a Budget!

- I originally pictured this room a tan/peach color. Somehow I ended up going with burnt orange. I like it!

- Painted all trim white. I do not like the stairs. I tried to insert a completely new staircase (after I'd primed it gray!). It is too narrow and the ceilings are too low to easily convert them. Oh well. I made due.

- I again printed out the flooring. A larger printout would have been ideal in this case. (19 width capability...note to self: Next time use hubby's expensive ink Epson printer!)

- I added white baseboards and even added a base to the stair wall. I am very pleased with this room.
