a while back I saw a log cabin dollhouse on Ebay that was very detailed- it even had chinking in between the logs. I liked the way it looked so much that I decided Schmitty's cabin didn't look very realistic, and so I added chinking w/ white puffy paint, added roof shingles, and then stained the whole outside and inside with a dark wood stain.

I think it looks much better this way, it looks much better than just a toy now.

It looks great!  I have a hand-made cabin that I bought years ago and after seeing the changes you made with this one,  I think mine needs this same kind of 'update'.   :)
