kitchen extension

In addition to adding space down the center, I'm adding a pop out for the kitchen. The current year (for my dh family) is 1910, so the kitchen was usually closed off from the rest of the house - this is where the servants worked and often slept, so there will be a door between the kitchen and the dining room, and another door (straight back) that goes into the entry hall. The room to the right (where the kitchen was before) is going to be an office or library area. There's a door from the main hall into this room. I might go ahead and put in the door to outside (closed up in this picture) and have the man of the house work out of his home. An attorney maybe?
