I ave a passion for BLUE front doors and this one begged for it! Have we recognized the trim on the front door's lower panels? If not, go back and look at the staircase... After using the HH punchouts to make the bathroom mirror I was on a roll...

I had already decided to make the tower "stone" and to Brick the rest of the exterior, which I then tamed with a slightly heavier gray wash than what I'd used on the firplace interior.

I'm planning to "brick" the entire exterior back wall.

Well, as my grandma always said, a blue door will keep the "haints" away. (she was an old southern lady, and haints meant 'haunts' or ghosts and etc.)
