I was on a roll with the house. I had found wonderful scrapbook paper for the parlor, and wanted to have white trim & wainscots (wait'll you see the fireplace!), so I decided to make the staircase and risers white with mahogany treads and railing. I liked the finished product so well I couldn't bear to put carpet on it, especially as practically no one will see it once it's hung.

Whilst resizing the picture I noticed it kept changing perspective, like the optical illusions or an MC Escher engraving.
