Optional:

Sew a running stitch through both layers of dress ang gather to desired waist size, or just leave the size it is now.

Add ribbon to waist to simulate belt.

There are many way to make this simple dress, fanicer. You can add lace ribbon wherever you wish.

You can also make the dress with mixed fabrics.

You can make it mulitlayered as I did in the bridal shop by double cutting fabric, 1 layer solid colr the other layed lace or sheer. Then tack layers together and treat as 1 layer.

You can shorten the sleve and skirt length.

You can omit sleves or use ribbon for straps.

You can use 2 different types of material.

So many options are available with just a little imagination.
