Here's where I hid my battery pack. As you can see, I don't waste alot of time on things that won't be seen, LOL. I cut a hole in the back of the hutch, stuck the battery pack in there, then held into place with good old duct tape. The lever on the left of the tape is the on/off switch. All of the wires run under the floor and/or up through the chimney. The white round thing on the wall of the fireplace is the bottom part of a flickering tea light. I used the tea light inside the fireplace. I just broke the tea light apart, saving only the base and the light itself. I needed the wire to the bulb a little longer so I spliced in an additional piece of wire. I cut a hole in the back of the fireplace and glued the base of the tea light in place so that I would have easy access to the battery and switch.
