Where did you get your brick stencil? I would love to get one.

I think this was magic brik 1/2 scale stencil. Very easy to do. I also used it on the foundation of my Fairfield and on the chimney. I usually paint a base color for the grout sort of beigy/lt grey and let it dry. Then apply the stencil paper (Push it down firmly so the paint doesn't get underneath). I mix the brick colors in a very splotchy soup of umber/terra cotta/beige with some texture compound to make it thickish (about like pancake batter thick). I stay away from reds and true orange. I use a thick stencil brush and dab it on thoroughly. Let it dry for just a few minutes. Then gently peel it away. After it is very dry, I put several colors of umber, beige/grey, whiteish on a piece of tin foil, but don't mix them. I take a piece of terry cloth and dab it in several of the colors. wipe it off a little, then carefully and lightly dab it on the brick in different spots to make it look weathered. After all is dry, I seal the brick in a matte clear coating so it doesn't flake off. Sometimes I add a bit of wood stain to the sealer to weather it abit more.
