Catch the Wind

Tess11

I stitched this design in the early 90's, right after I got out of college. These three beautiful girls helped me get through a nasty post-college break up. Stitching has always been my way of working things out. I stitch and think and get through stuff. Most stitchers understand what I'm talking about. Minis now do that for me as well, but I find stitching is a lot less frustrating (except for Emma!) only because I've done it for so long.

This is another Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum piece, from her Butternut Road Collection.

Tiffany, they are all beautifully done. You've inspired me to take out the pattern of Emma's Garden and find out just what it is about the lace that throws me. I still can't figure it out. Both The Wedding and Sweet Dreams are on my website and I loved doing them both.

You do beautiful work!

Thanks, Wendy. It means a lot coming for you! I started working on Firefly Fairies again last night. I will tackle that lace on Emma's Garden soon. I can't stand for it to sit around as a UFO forever. And somday I will do Morning Song. I just LOVE that piece.

I like to cross-stitch, too. But the eyes aren't what they used to be. I've started 2 different projects and let them fall by the wayside because I can't see the holes!

Your work is gorgeous. I've always been a fan of Marilyn Leavitt Imblum.
