The Wedding

Tess11

This is Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum's The Wedding. I did this for my wedding (obviously). :) I got so sick of stitching white! I ended up doing all the border of the wedding dress and all the shading, then I went back and just stiched white without looking at the pattern. I also changed the hair color of the bride and groom. I believe she was originally blond and he had more reddish hair. Since I am a red head and my hubby has dark hair, I changed it to match us.

I don't know what is all over the glass in this picture. I didn't see it when I took it. Ghost dirt, apparently. Do I need Grant and Jay from TAPS here?

The white does get tiresome quickly. I did this same cross stitch for our 5th wedding anniversary, I did the flowergirl dress in green tho my flowergirl wore navy. When my husband commented that I changed the groom hair from black to grey, I reminded him that if it were truly accurate he'd have hardly any hair at all, lol

This one is hanging four feet from my computer. I have it on a pale blue or gray, which goes well with the blue dress. I changed the grooms hair color, because my boyfriend is blond and I got tired of him not having a top to his head! Now
