I'm not happy with this room and plan to change it. The floor is made from vinyl floor tiles, but I don't like the effect. I also want to plaster the walls and do something about the fireplace.

Your house looks great so far! I really like your kitchen floor! Perhaps you can just darken the grout a little to tone down the light color...but otherwise it looks perfect!!! :)

I like the stones - maybe an acrylic wash to make it look older and worn?

And it would make the grout darker which could help.

I like the floor itself though - great job!
