The upstairs bedroom has a removable balsa floor. I made the fireplace hearth look like marble using those free paint chips you get at home improvement stores.

Ok - I am lovin' the balsa floor. Can you tell me more about how you did it?

It looks so nice and aged. Is it glued onto cardstock?
