I think this is a flaxon chestnut? Idk much about horses but these are my favorite...dark brown with cream mane and tail. I also like bays with light brown coat and black mane and tails.  I know my favorite breed is Percheron, a huge draft horse.

tried to find a horse that looked like the one my mom rode in the 40's.  The basic horse was gotten at hobby lobby western section 50% off so $20.  When I found one that looked like the black and white photo, I tried to paint this one like that.
