Did you add siding to it?

I love the French doors!

Yes, I did add siding.  I forgot to mount the back porch lights before putting on the siding though, so I guess it will go without, or I could add some battery operated ones.  The rest is fully wired and lit!

I was wanting to add siding to mine, but wasn't sure how it would look. I love it in siding!

Oh no! That's an unfortunate oversight. I am going to go battery operated with mine

The siding actually went on pretty easily, but I did use the template method (made paper templates) for most areas, and I put the siding on after it was built.  It took one sheet short of one full package of siding. The one place I diverged from the instructions are on the front. It said to put that large piece of fascia on and glue it in place, but I left it unglued and refitted it every time I took a step forward.  That made doing the details across the front much easier.  And I think they say to hook it from the top, then bend it to pop into the two slots on the bottom porch, but I recall I did the opposite.  I also left both pieces of roof off til the very end, but again I fitted them every time I added something that required them to fit.

Thanks! That is all good to know. Was it the Greenleaf siding?

I used the Houseworks 7037 1/2" lap wood clapboard siding which comes as ten 24 inch pieces per package.
