Bluestocking

We saw this in our neighborhood as we were out walking one morning last summer.  It looked like something a clever dad had come up with for his daughters, using an old end table, though on reflection it might be purchased.  I was tempted to take it home, but my husband said no!  We did take a number of photos, though, so that it might inspire someone else who has a midcentury-modern-style laminate end table sitting around ...

If I remember correctly, the "glass block" sections swung closed to make a wall or door.
