Medieval 519 Posted January 1, 2021 I had to dry fit the roof and living room bay windows to see where the floor boards go on attic floor. I decided to go with wider floor boards in the attic to keep it looking "unfinished." I am finishing the tower and little room to the left of the attic. But I did the floors below in American Walnut. I'm thinking either to leave floors natural and just seal tham or use a yellow pine stain. I'm looking for opinions. Quote Link to comment
KathieB 6,117 Posted January 1, 2021 I'd age them with an india ink/alcohol mix or similar to turn them a grayish shade. I wouldn't seal them but leave to to continue to age naturally. *thinking* maybe use yellow pine stain first and then age them with the ink mix. Time to experiment on the offcuts! 1 Quote Link to comment
