The House of Miniatures Chippendale desk kit (40017) I used is apparently a very early model, without any cubbies or pigeon-holes, so my husband put together a prototype for me that was so good I just used it for the real thing! I wanted it to look like something you might get from IKEA, so it's very simple and now painted black. It is cut from an Oyster card left over from a trip to London a few years ago. "Ostron" is the Swedish word for "oyster" ....
