Kashkuhi Gabbeh

fov

I charted this rug based on a photo I found online - you can read about the process here. It's stitched over one on 40-count evenweave, for a finished size of approximately 4 13/16" x 7 3/8". It's shown here in a half scale room but could also work as a smaller rug in a 1:12 setting.

I posted the chart for this rug, as well as for a smaller square version, for free download on my blog (for personal use only).

Thanks! It's the dining room of my Victorianna. I've been lax about updating my gallery, I should do that one of these days...

I have cross stitched for 20 years and have never seen anything so amazing!  I aspire to make something half as good...got my first pattern book.  I appreciate you posting where the patterns came from.  Beautiful work!  Do you use a magnifier?

Thanks! I don't need a magnifier but one of these days I might, I do notice it's harder to see the small count fabric than it used to be.
