I love the rooms. Everything looks so real. What wonderful nostalgia.

It's a testament to Norm Nielsen's skill (if he did indeed build this) that he got so many details right. Specifically, the doors and windows are all handmade. The doors in the basement are all louvered, which is very fun. The windows all work, and he got them correct right down to the number of panes in all of them! That sort of talent astounds me.

Aannd I suddenly realized in a bout of insomnia that Norm Nielsen died before this house was built. So with no signature, it remains a mystery. This sort of thing drives me nuts!!
