I plan to make the roof on the extension mimic the porch roof. I know not what I'm doing, but I know a flat roof isn't code(!). I measured the distance between the upper insertion of the porch roof and the edge, it's about 2 inch drop, so I'm figuring making a 2 inch slant on the front wall of the kitchen. Sound right?
