Silhouette Curio cutting ornate hinges

SewMini

I used my trusty Curio to cut some scroll patterns out of black cardstock to mimic ornate ironwork hinges. I just cut them down the middle, glued 2 together to get 6 and then gave them a quick once over with some calligraphy ink to make sure all the edges were black.

I have to say, I used to tey and try to get it to cut through heavy matboard for stiff like this but soung that Paris cafe kit opened up my eyws to how much more you can do when you just stack layers of thinner materials. Cutting designs this small isnt always clean but it’s easy enough to just cover up with marker or paint. I was very please with how this came out and how much time it saved me. Cutting a design like that would have taken hours!
