Another kit by Red Cottage Miniatures.

This cute retro kitchen is two parts. The upper shelf unit will attach to the wall floating above the lower cupboard unit. I bashed this kit a little. I wanted to eliminate the doors so that I could have a cloth curtain under the sink but these are non-working doors so I lined the inserts with paper to give it a similar effect. I used the same paper to line the back of the upper shelves.

The small under cabinet refrigerator is actually a set of non-working drawers, that I changed in order to have a small frig. I used glossy photo paper for the refrigerator front, and a dragonfly punch out of light metal (that I cut the wings off of, oh my) for the handle.

I'm still fussing with the sink. The kit is designed for the sink to be recessed, but I might leave it on top of the counter like a farmhouse sink. I haven’t decided and until I do the countertop remains separate and unfinished.
