orner of the library, after installation of the valance wall, and after adding a few more objects to the mantel. My favorite is the HO scale coal hod painted copper (far left on mantel). In real life, Theodore Roosevelt was given a tiny copper coal hod for helping settle the coal miners’ strike and ensuring the workers were treated fairly, and I can’t believe I was able to score something that was such a close replica! From my half-scale recreation of the library at Theodore Roosevelt’s summer home, Sagamore Hill. You can see a 360-degree view of the library when you click through the images here (about 6 clicks in): https://artsandculture.google.com/exhibit/nQLiVHOCgDXMJA To read more about the process, please visit my blog at https://thehalfscaleofit.blogspot.com.
