Every time I empty a box of cereal, I think about saving the inner translucent bag to use in a bathroom window. It looks just like frosted glass. :D (I'd sandwich it in with the Plexiglas or real glass. I think it's too thin to use by itself.)

Or if you don't want to change the glass, what about shutters on the bottom half of the windows? It's on an upper floor. Unless there's a taller building across the street, I don't think anyone will be able to see an occupant through the upper half of the window.

It is so pretty Susie. I can't wait to see what you do for the drapes.

thank you Carrie! She just might be an exhibitionist!  @KathieB they have this cool paint at hobby lobby that makes whatever you paint look frosted...I haven't tried it myself but I saw a sample and it was pretty amazing and realistic looking.  Thanks for the great ideas.

Or how about a stained glass window?  What have you used for the tiles?  What's on the walls?  Looks fantastic!

Very nice!  What did you use on the walls?  Textured wallpaper?  Such a nice room!

it's that penny tile that comes in large sheets...I painted the walls under so they color would be smooth.

I am going to use a stained glass on the top floor window...=)   The walls are penny tile sheets sold by houseworks.  Thank you Shareb!
