The deed for this house

This was in the attic of the house.  I purchased this from the niece of the original owner.  She told me her Aunt bought this house in 1978 and completed it in 1981. She passed away in the later 80's. The deed was issued to her by the shop that she purchased it at and they put in the dates.  I wish she would have signed it.  The house does have a plate attached to the base with her name on it.

Would it be wrong to write her name on it , then write my name on it?  I was thinking about framing it.  Or should I just leave it alone?

You could take a copy of it, leave the original as is and add the names to the copy?  Best of both worlds!
