I love the butcher block also.  All the ones I have seen have dark wood on the outside and I have never seen one in real life with dark wood on the outside.  I have asked my son in law to make me one, but that could take awhile lol.  Did you make this one

I was going to make one it was on the make list but when I was at the store the owners husband makes these and it was so reasonable . I will probably age it some .

Both the husband and wife make things and I bought something they each had made .

Is your little stove a crescent kitchen stove?  I have my eye on one and am very tempted to buy it.

Yes it is . it's kinda tiny but perfect for this little kitchen.

I have one of those crecsent stoves.. they are really cute, and look great shabbied up. Check out Kim Saulter's flickr for some pretty pictures of it in use. :)

I agree, this layout is better and I like the finish on the walls for the theme also. :)

Well, I ordered the stove I had my eye on.  Paid a little more than I would have liked but it was the only one for sale.  I think it is so cute.  Thinking of putting it in my Christmas house.  Kim Saulter's kitchen is adorable.  Love everything that she has done.  Thanks for the info.
